Fall is slowly creeping around the corner. Nights are a little bit colder and smoke is starting to appear out of a few chimneys around town. During the day it is still warming up so take the time to enjoy the sunshine while it is still around!
We would love to hear a little about each of our bloggers. What is your most memorable time in the meadow? For me it was when I went out on my first tour of the meadow with Steve Robinson.
To all the Friends of the Mountain Meadows Conservancy, I would like to invite you to the Steve Robinson Memorial. It will be on July 20th, 12:00, at the Westwood Park here in Westwood California. Please save this date to celebrate a great man who dedicated his life to protect our beautiful meadows. There will be food, but if you’d like to bring a dish to share that would be great! There will be sodas, mineral waters and vitamin waters there, but any contribution is welcome. This is going to be a great day to celebrate Steve and his love for the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Feel free to email his wife Judy, at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us here. Hope to see you there!
We would like to announce that we now have a blog! This is the first we have experimented with so please send feedback and thanks as always!
